First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests two new approaches to help teenagers aged 13 to 17 who struggle with suicidal thoughts or self-harm. One uses a gentle nerve stimulation device to improve emotional control, and the other uses a smartphone app to connect them with supportive peers. The goal is to see if these digital tools can reduce suicidal behaviors and reach more teens than traditional in-person therapy.
