Doctors test Low-Radiation technique for common bladder procedure

NCT ID NCT04527445

Summary

This study is testing whether using special low-radiation X-ray settings during a bladder treatment procedure is as safe and effective as the standard high-radiation settings. The procedure, called sacral neuromodulation, treats overactive bladder and incontinence. Researchers will compare radiation exposure and treatment outcomes between 44 patients randomly assigned to receive either the low-radiation or standard approach.
