New study aims to slash radiation during bladder implant surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether using lower radiation settings during a procedure to implant a nerve stimulator for overactive bladder is safe and effective. About 44 adults with overactive bladder will be randomly assigned to receive either standard or reduced radiation during the lead placement. The main goal is to measure and compare radiation exposure between the two groups.
