NCT ID NCT05956665
Summary
This small pilot study tested a program to help safely reduce the number of unnecessary or potentially harmful medications taken by people with dementia living in assisted living. A clinician reviewed each participant's medications and made recommendations to stop or lower doses, which were discussed with the resident or their family. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce medication use and improve residents' quality of life.
