Summary
This study tests whether giving doctors feedback about their prescribing habits can reduce the use of potentially harmful medications in older adults (65+) leaving the emergency department. About 200 clinicians from Yale New Haven Health System are taking part. The feedback comes from either a peer doctor or an anonymous system, and the goal is to see which method works best to encourage safer prescribing.
