First seen Jan 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving primary care doctors detailed feedback from a pharmacist can help reduce prescriptions of certain drugs (like sleeping pills and stomach acid reducers) that may be unnecessary or harmful for adults over 65. About 540 patients from nine health centers in Spain will take part. The goal is to see if this extra support helps doctors safely reduce or stop these medications.
