New surgical clamp technique aims to make fibroid surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07182045
Summary
This study is testing whether temporarily blocking the main blood vessels to the uterus during minimally invasive fibroid removal surgery can reduce blood loss. It focuses on patients who have many fibroids or very large fibroids, as these cases typically involve more bleeding. Researchers will compare blood loss between patients who receive this temporary blood flow blockage and those who have standard surgery.
