Summary
This study tests two school-based programs to help children ages 5-12 from low-income communities in Colorado better manage their asthma. The goal is to reduce asthma attacks and missed school days by having school nurses and navigators coordinate care with doctors and community resources. The study will compare a standard program to an enhanced version that adds extra community support.
