NCT ID NCT05142826
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a teacher training program to help reduce the overdiagnosis of ADHD in children who are the youngest in their kindergarten class. Researchers worked with 62 children and their teachers to see if teaching about age-related expectations and using positive behavior support could lower ADHD symptoms and impairment. The goal was to see if this approach is feasible and acceptable, not to cure or treat ADHD directly.
