Could less be more? new study aims to reduce treatment intensity for testicular cancer
NCT ID NCT03937843
First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a reduced-intensity combination of chemotherapy and radiation can safely treat stage IIA or IIB seminoma, a type of testicular cancer. About 135 participants will receive a tailored, milder treatment plan to see if it can control the cancer as well as standard therapy while causing fewer side effects. The goal is to maintain high cure rates while lowering the burden of treatment.
