Gentler chemo combo aims to help older lung cancer patients live longer with fewer side effects

Summary
This study tests whether a reduced dose of chemotherapy combined with the immunotherapy drug cemiplimab works better than cemiplimab alone for people aged 70 and older with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Participants must be in relatively poor health or frail, and their tumors must have low levels of a protein called PD-L1. The goal is to find a treatment that controls the cancer while being easier to tolerate.
