Scientists test antibiotic pill for the backside

Summary

This study aims to see if an antibiotic works as well when given as a rectal capsule or tablet compared to the standard intravenous (IV) injection. It involves 37 healthy Thai adults who will try all three methods in a random order. The main goal is to measure how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream with each method and to check for side effects.
