Are doctors missing cancer clues that could change treatment?

NCT ID NCT07345273

Summary

This study aims to check if doctors are properly reporting small cancer spots called 'tumor deposits' when they examine scans and tissue samples from rectal cancer patients. Researchers will review medical records from 225 patients to see if these important findings are being recorded since updated guidelines were introduced. The goal is to understand if missing these spots means patients might not receive the most appropriate treatment advice.
