Summary

This large national study aims to see if adding immunotherapy drugs to the standard pre-surgery treatment (chemotherapy and radiation) works better for people with high-risk rectal cancer. It will also compare two different lengths of radiation treatment. The goal is to shrink tumors more effectively before surgery and improve long-term survival.
