First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a specific chemotherapy regimen (mFOLFOX) along with a short course of radiation before surgery can help people with rectal cancer live longer without the cancer coming back. About 54 adults with resectable rectal cancer will receive this treatment and then be followed for three years. The goal is to see if this approach improves disease-free survival and increases the chance of a complete response at surgery.
