Summary
This study is testing whether giving chemotherapy first, followed by a higher dose of targeted radiation, can completely eliminate cancer in people with locally advanced rectal cancer. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective enough to avoid the need for surgery. About 25 adults with this type of cancer will take part.
