Summary
This study is testing a two-part treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer. First, patients receive chemotherapy. Then, they receive a higher dose of targeted radiation than is typically given, guided by MRI scans. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective enough to allow some patients to avoid surgery completely.
