Doctors test whether removing tiny cancer spots beats watching them
NCT ID NCT07192627
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage small leftover spots in rectal cancer patients who have already had chemoradiation. It will compare two approaches: surgically removing these spots versus closely monitoring them without immediate removal. The goal is to see which method better prevents cancer from returning while helping patients avoid major surgery.
