First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a strong chemotherapy combination called FOLFIRINOX before surgery can help more people with rectal cancer that has spread to the liver have successful removal of all cancer. About 550 adults with mid or low rectal cancer and liver metastases that can be surgically removed will receive at least two cycles of FOLFIRINOX. The main goal is to see how many patients have all cancer completely removed 18 months after starting treatment.
