Summary
This study tests a new approach for people with locally advanced rectal cancer. Participants first receive chemotherapy, then a higher-than-usual dose of precisely targeted radiation. The goal is to see if this combination can eliminate the cancer completely, allowing patients to avoid surgery. The study involves 25 adults and is currently recruiting.
