First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at how well a procedure called ultrasound renal denervation works over time to lower blood pressure in people 65 and older whose blood pressure is not well controlled with medication. Researchers will review medical records from 1,000 Medicare patients to see if the treatment helps reduce blood pressure and prevents heart problems. The goal is to see if this approach is a safe and effective long-term option for managing hypertension.
