NCT ID NCT06399705

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two common procedures to restore blood flow in the heart for 600 minority patients with coronary artery disease. One method uses a small mesh tube (stent) inserted through the wrist or groin, while the other is open-heart bypass surgery using blood vessels from elsewhere in the body. The goal is to see which approach leads to better survival and quality of life over time.
