Summary

This study tests a procedure called ReCET that uses mild electrical pulses to treat the lining of the small intestine. It aims to improve blood sugar control and reduce fat in the liver for people with type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease who haven't had success with standard medications. About 40 participants will be followed for 24 months to see if the procedure is safe and effective.
