Knee surgery pain study: could rebound pain predict months of suffering?

Summary
This study will follow 220 adults having knee replacement surgery to see if a short burst of pain after a nerve block (called rebound pain) is linked to chronic pain that lasts for months. Participants will keep pain diaries and answer surveys at 3 and 6 months after surgery. No new treatments are being tested—the goal is simply to understand the connection.
