Massive study launches to track mysterious brain and nerve attacks

NCT ID NCT07333196

Summary

This study aims to observe and understand how a group of related autoimmune diseases that attack the brain, nerves, and muscles progress over time in real-world patients. It will follow 1,550 adults diagnosed with conditions like multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and autoimmune encephalitis, collecting long-term data on their symptoms, treatments, and quality of life. The goal is to gather knowledge to help improve future care strategies, as this is an observational study and does not test a new treatment.
