First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tracks 1,000 Medicare patients with hard-to-control high blood pressure to see if a procedure called renal denervation (RDN) plus standard care works better than standard care alone. Researchers will compare blood pressure changes and heart events over two years using medical records and insurance claims. The goal is to see if this procedure helps lower blood pressure long-term.
