Italian study tests daily pill to tame debilitating migraines

NCT ID NCT06414044

Summary

This study is observing how well a daily medication called atogepant works to prevent migraine attacks in real-world settings. It will follow 500 people in Italy with episodic or chronic migraines for up to two years, tracking how many headache days they have and how the treatment affects their daily life. The goal is to see if the benefits seen in earlier controlled trials hold up in everyday practice and to monitor side effects over a longer period.
