Summary
This study looks at whether reading a personal narrative book can help women of childbearing age manage anxiety, depression, and negative thoughts before having a hysterectomy. About 156 women will either get standard care or also receive a book to read. The goal is to see if the book improves emotional well-being and satisfaction with care.
