Scientists test 'Text Shifting' to help the visually impaired read again
NCT ID NCT07216924
Summary
This study aims to help people with central vision loss, often from macular degeneration, read more easily. Researchers will test if shifting text to different parts of a person's remaining vision improves reading speed and accuracy. Participants will try different reading tasks, including reading sentences, books, and words in virtual reality scenes, to see which method works best for them.
