Summary

This study tests a therapy called ReACT for children aged 11-18 who have psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) — episodes that look like seizures but have no physical cause. The therapy focuses on changing thoughts and behaviors to help children feel more in control and reduce fear of symptoms. Participants will attend 12 therapy sessions and complete tasks like holding a hand in cool water to measure pain tolerance and stress responses. The goal is to see if ReACT can reduce seizure frequency and improve quality of life.
