First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at two ways to help older adults who are having trouble moving around and doing daily tasks. One approach, called reablement, focuses on personalized, meaningful activities to build skills and confidence. The other uses standard exercise routines. Researchers will compare how well each method improves mobility, reduces fear of falling, and boosts independence in about 80 seniors attending day care centers.
