NCT ID NCT02125786
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether surgery followed by a second course of radiation can help children and young adults (ages 1-21) whose ependymoma brain tumor has returned after initial treatment. The combined radiation dose is higher than usual, and researchers will closely monitor side effects and tumor response using MRI and PET scans. Participants are followed for up to 5 years to see how long the tumor stays under control.
