New bedside blood test could spot strokes in kids in minutes

Summary

This study will test a new rapid blood test that can be done at the bedside to help doctors quickly tell if a child is having a stroke. About 250 children with stroke symptoms will give a small blood sample, and the test's accuracy will be compared to standard brain scans. The goal is to speed up diagnosis and treatment for pediatric stroke.
