5-Day brain zap trial aims to lift depression

Summary

This study is testing whether a faster, 5-day version of magnetic brain stimulation can help adults with depression. Researchers will compare the real treatment to a placebo (sham) version in 264 participants. They'll measure changes in depression symptoms, brain activity, and emotional expression over a full year of follow-up visits.
