First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug rapamycin is safe for teenagers with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), a condition that causes many colon polyps and raises cancer risk. Researchers will give two low doses of rapamycin to 25 teens aged 12-17 and watch for side effects. They also want to see if the drug can shrink or reduce the number of polyps.
