Fasting study seeks to uncover hidden risks for adrenal patients

Summary
This study will check if fasting during Ramadan raises the risk of low blood sugar or dehydration in people with primary adrenal insufficiency who take prednisolone. Thirty-five patients will be monitored during two weeks of fasting and two weeks of non-fasting using continuous glucose monitors and blood tests. The goal is to understand whether fasting is safe for this group.
