First human test of new drug for debilitating muscle disease in children

NCT ID NCT07282652

Summary

This is a very early study to see if a new drug called RAG-18 is safe for children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). It will involve about 12 boys aged 4-15, giving them increasing doses to check for side effects. The study will also measure how the drug moves through the body and look for early signs it might help muscle function.
