Can a simple online program get more people to test for Cancer-Causing radon gas?
NCT ID NCT05833334
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to encourage people in New Hampshire and Vermont to test their homes for radon, an invisible gas that is a leading cause of lung cancer. Researchers are testing whether a new online educational program, with or without reminder messages, is more effective than standard public health information at getting people to request and use free radon test kits. The study involves about 172 adult homeowners and renters who have never tested their current home for radon.
