First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving radiation therapy after completely removing a type of chest tumor called thymoma (stages II or III) helps prevent the cancer from coming back and improves survival. About 238 adults aged 18-75 who had surgery within the last 3 months will be randomly assigned to receive or not receive radiation. The goal is to see if the added treatment makes a difference in disease-free and overall survival.
