First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving radiation therapy after completely removing a thymoma (a rare chest tumor) can help people with stage II or III disease live longer without the cancer coming back. About 238 adults aged 18-75 who had surgery within the last 3 months will be randomly assigned to get radiation or not. The goal is to see if radiation improves disease-free survival and overall survival, while monitoring side effects.
