New radiation approach may improve tumor control for brain tumor patients

NCT ID NCT06557512

First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new radiation technique called hypofractionated stereotactic radiosurgery for people with grade II or recurrent grade I meningiomas after surgery. The treatment delivers higher doses of radiation over fewer sessions to kill remaining tumor cells while reducing side effects. About 23 adults will participate to see if this approach is safe and effective at preventing tumor regrowth.
