Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether a single, precise dose of radiation to the pituitary gland could help people with severe bone pain from cancer that has spread to the bones. The study included 5 people whose pain was not controlled by standard treatments. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce pain and improve quality of life.
