First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study aims to create and test a tool that uses chest CT scans to help doctors more accurately diagnose different types of pulmonary fibrosis, a condition where lung tissue becomes scarred. Researchers will analyze CT scans from 400 adults to identify patterns linked to specific fibrosis types. Then, radiologists will use the tool on 100 additional scans to see if their diagnoses improve compared to working without it.
