Zapping knee pain: new hope for failed replacements

NCT ID NCT05283889

Summary

This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure called genicular radiofrequency ablation (GRFA) for people who still have significant knee pain more than a year after a total knee replacement. It compares the real procedure to a sham (fake) one to see if it safely reduces pain and improves function. The goal is to find a new option for patients whose pain hasn't responded to other treatments like physical therapy or medication.
