Summary

This study tested a non-surgical treatment for older adults with breast cancer who could not or did not want to have an operation. Doctors used ultrasound to guide a needle that heats and destroys the tumor, combined with hormone-blocking pills. The goal was to see if this approach was effective and well-tolerated for controlling the cancer.
