Doctors test X-Ray-Free heart valve fix using only ultrasound
NCT ID NCT07458672
Summary
This study is testing a new way to replace leaky heart valves without using X-rays or contrast dye, which can be harmful to some patients. Doctors will use ultrasound imaging instead to guide the valve replacement in 30 people with severe aortic regurgitation. The main goal is to see if this radiation-free approach is safe and works well in the first 30 days after the procedure.
