Radiation boost for melanoma: can it stop Cancer's spread?

NCT ID NCT04594187

Summary

This study is testing whether adding radiation therapy to standard immunotherapy helps prevent melanoma from coming back in the lymph nodes. It's for patients whose melanoma has spread to a nearby lymph node but hasn't traveled further. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either immunotherapy alone or immunotherapy plus a short course of radiation to the lymph node area.
