Radiation zaps scattered tumors, aims to delay harsh drugs
NCT ID NCT03575611
Summary
This study is testing if precisely targeted radiation can control kidney cancer that has spread to only a few other body sites. The goal is to see if this approach can delay or avoid the need for stronger, body-wide drug treatments. It involves 123 adults with a limited number of tumors, who receive radiation to all known cancer sites and are closely monitored.
