Zapping spreading cancer spots: can precision radiation buy more time?

NCT ID NCT02756793

Summary

This trial is testing whether using highly focused, high-dose radiation on a few spots where cancer has started to spread can help delay the disease from getting worse. It compares this approach to continuing standard drug treatments alone in patients whose cancer was previously controlled. The main goal is to see if adding this radiation treatment helps patients live longer without their cancer progressing.
