Zapping spreading cancer spots to keep treatments working

NCT ID NCT02756793

Summary

This study is testing whether using highly focused radiation on a few new or growing cancer spots can help delay the cancer from getting worse in people whose disease was previously stable. It is for adults with advanced lung cancer where the cancer has started to spread again in up to five specific areas. Participants are randomly assigned to either continue their standard treatment or add this targeted radiation to the new spots.
