Zapping new tumors could extend Life-Saving cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT04974671
Summary
This study is for people with advanced kidney cancer whose immunotherapy is working for most of their body, but a few tumors (1-5) have started growing again. It tests whether using very precise, high-dose radiation to treat just those few growing tumors can help patients continue their current immunotherapy longer without the cancer progressing further. The goal is to control the cancer's spread and extend the time patients benefit from treatment.
